We would like to thank all the StudyIn.University employees for the qualified support during admission to the Metropolitan University in Prague.
I will start from the very beginning. My older brother received a bachelor's degree in Ukraine, and went to the Czech Republic to study for a master's degree. This center helped him in this. From him I learned about all the advantages of studying at a Czech university, and after weighing my strengths I decided to get an international education. After discussing my plans with my parents, they supported me. We received a comprehensive ZUM consultation from a consultant, which is very convenient for my parents. We learned that StudyIn.University offers a one-year Czech language course in my hometown of Kyiv. This option of preparatory courses suited us, and we started cooperation.
While I was studying Czech and English at the courses, the center's team was dealing with all documents and organizational issues. I am very grateful to them for their support, without their help it would be very difficult and there would be no guarantee of income. A year passed, and I successfully passed the Czech and English exams. She submitted documents to the Metropolitan University and entered! My joy knew no bounds. StudyIn.University has provided everything from getting to know them to admission at the highest level. Now, during my studies, we are constantly in touch and help me with any questions. I am very satisfied with the level of competence of the team, nothing is impossible for them.
I recommend StudyIn.University to everyone!
I will start my review about studying in the Czech Republic by explaining why I chose this country. He is interested in higher education in the field of IT, but domestic technical universities lag behind this constantly developing field. Therefore, in high school, I decided to study a foreign language for future entrance. And he stopped at Czech because of the similarity with his native language.
This is what attracted me when choosing a country for student residence - many large, well-known companies have opened branches in the Czech Republic, and this is an opportunity for further employment. Many universities help graduates with employment. I turned to StudyIn.University for advice on matters of interest to me. After thinking, studying programs and reviews about education in the Czech Republic, I finally chose Masaryk University (MUNI) in Brno. I was interested in the Faculty of Cyber Security. It is important that Masaryk is a state university, if you successfully pass the Czech language exam, free education is guaranteed. I took a one-year Czech language course in Prague from StudyIn.Agency and was very satisfied. I passed the state exam without problems and enrolled in a free form of education.
At MUNI, I especially liked the opportunity to make a flexible study schedule and choose the most interesting and useful subjects for me. It's cool that lectures are not only given by professors, but also by the heads of local IT companies, I appreciate this approach when practitioners share their experience. My feedback about studying in the Czech Republic is as honest as possible, so I will not be rude. It is more difficult for a foreigner to study, especially in the first year. It is necessary to devote time not only to the subjects of the specialty, but also to further study of the language if you want to adapt as much as possible in the country, but the staff of StudyIn.University made every effort so that I could concentrate on the important aspects of my studies. I believe that entering Czech universities is a good idea, even without knowledge of the Czech language.
There are universities in Prague where teaching is conducted in English! Of course, such education is paid, but at the same time, its level is high. Such an offer will be interesting for students who plan to build a career in international companies in the future. I don't know how high-quality the teaching is in the remaining 69 Czech universities, but I definitely recommend MUNI for admission, which has already become native.
Thank you very much StudyIn.University!
The Czech Republic has a stunning geographical location, it is in the "heart of Europe" and this became one of the important factors when choosing a country for further studies. The country is developing at a fast pace and provides many opportunities for development to its residents.
In what year did you enter and what program did you study?
Entered the Czech Agricultural Technical University in 2015. He studied IT at the Faculty of Economics. In 2019, he successfully graduated and continued his master's degree at the University of New York in Prague.
Was it possible to do a paid internship?
Of course, there is always such a possibility! In 2016, I sent my resume to the German company xITee. Then I was invited to an interview and offered a part-time job in my specialty, working 20 hours a week. True, the salary was not high, but it was enough for me as a student, and the main thing in an internship is professional experience. One salary covered about 70% of monthly expenses: accommodation, food, etc.
How are you doing with the Czech language?
Unfortunately, I never studied it. In this regard, the Czech Republic is a very comfortable country, I have been living here for 5 years and feel quite comfortable without a language. My study program is in English. I only know basic phrases that are used every day, for example, when ordering food in a restaurant. Worked in four international companies: xITee, SAP, DHL and Amazon. We communicated with colleagues in English, even if there were Czechs among us, who, by the way, almost all speak English.
What are you doing now?
I am currently studying for a master's degree at New York University in Prague. Entered in 2019, the duration of the program is one year. I have now finished all the programs and am preparing to defend my thesis. I used to work as an IT project manager at Amazon, but now I am temporarily out of work to devote more time to education and science.
Believe me, you will learn a lot of new things. Beautiful places, new friends, new knowledge, active student life at the university. So I recommend it.
